PEMF Therapy and Neuropathy
Nerves transmit electrical signals between the brain and various parts of the body. In cases of neuropathy, these nerves are damaged and cannot properly send signals. PEMF therapy uses low-frequency currents to stimulate individual cells, including nerve cells, enhancing blood flow to the area and promoting healing.
PEMF can also depolarise, depolarise, or hyperpolarise neurons within cells, which improves nerve function and reduces neuropathy symptoms. Research indicates a positive relationship between PEMF therapy and neuropathy relief. PEMF has been effective in reducing pain, tingling, and other symptoms of peripheral neuropathy at frequencies between 600 Hz and 800 Hz. Benefits have been observed with daily sessions of 30 minutes to an hour over a span of 12 days, with animal studies showing nerve tissue healing.
PEMF therapy is emerging as a promising treatment for neuropathy, offering cellular-level healing with minimal side effects. By mimicking the natural functions of the body’s cells, PEMF helps restore normal bodily functions, addressing both symptoms and their underlying causes.
